Where are you located?

L'Etoffe Fabrics is located in Redlands, CA. All orders ship from our studio in Southern California.

Are your prices per yard? 

Yes, prices are all per yard unless noted otherwise in the title and description.

Can I request a Fraction Cut?

Yes, to request a fraction cut please describe your request in the chat box and we will create an invoice sent to your email. Yes, we can add your fraction cut to a current order, shipping will be adjusted. WE ONLY SELL FRACTIONS BY INVOICE REQUEST. You cannot order 3 yards then say you want 2.5 or in reverse. We have inventory to control, thank you for your understanding. 

How long does it take to ship?

Orders ship in 1 to 4 working days as it takes time to prepare cut yardage. If you need your order ASAP, let us know in the chat to send it up the queue. If you place the order before 3 pm PST, I can usually get it out the same day. We've got your back!

Do you provide swatches?

Yes, we do! If you're interested in ordering swatches, you can access that here!

Is there a space for notes?


On the cart page, there will be a box to leave any additional notes regarding your order (delivery instructions, swatch requests, or holds, if you want a little more or a little less, etc.) Order notes are the preferred method of communicating any order needs or preferences! 

Do you offer holds?

If you make 2 or more orders within 24 hours they will be combined. Shipping will be combined, and any overage will be refunded. Free shipping will ONLY apply to holds if the order total is $150 or more & within 24 hours.

If you are on vacation, please leave the shipping date in the notes of your order when you check out. Please follow up with us when you get home.

Holding and accumulating orders over a period of time & have shipping combined is reserved for LOST ART CLUB members only. If you would like to join, you can get more info on the club here! 

What if I need more info on a certain product?

Got a swatch in your order and need more info? Text a photo at 323-907-2941, chat in the chat box, or email at orders@letoffefabrics.com & we will send the info! We may even send you swatches of fabric that are not on the site yet... you get first dibs.

Please email or use the Chat box; if unattended the chat box will record your request! If you make a request or sent a message & did not get a rapid response, it may have gotten buried. Please feel free to reach out again. We are here to take this sewing journey with you!

Do you ship internationally?

L'Etoffe Fabrics will ship anywhere in the world! If your country is not listed please contact us for a shipping quote in the chat box after items are added to your cart. We use DHL and Fed Ex with taxes, customs, and duties paid upfront.

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes, we do! If you would like to purchase a gift certificate, you can do so right here!

    This listing is for 1 to 4 swatches that can fit in an envelope. To request the swatches:

    1. Add the titles of the fabric you want to the additional notes box on the CART page, NOT check-out page. View the second image
    2. Check-out normally.

    There is NO shipping charge. The $3 is a fee to prevent fraud to order swatches and too many envelope requests. If would like more than 4 swatches please request a swatchpack. You will receive a notification when the envelope is mailed. NO tracking info as this is "snail mail."

    If you would like to have a tracking number, order a "swatchpack" here which will give you a lot more swatches. Envelopes used to mail swatches are sourced from reused/upcycled packaging.

    New Swatch Pack Program (Please Share Your Swatches):

    •  Everything is top quality hand selected deadstock, new fabric is coming and going constantly, there are no labels on the swatches but we try to coordinate as much as possible with corresponding webpages for example Cool with the Cool page. This is not an exact science. If you need info on a swatch please text an image to 323-907-2561. Email and chat box also works. Please note this phone line gets a  lot of robocalls so best to text. Please state your name in the text. 
    • You may order swatch packs to be added to your current order or sent alone, if sent alone there is a small shipping fee that is the actual cost of shipping. Swatch sizes range depending on fabric but they are usually about 2 or 3" square some are smaller it depends how precious or the stock level. 
    • Swatch packs are matched with themes from the website or you can give us a vibe, style, palette to which we will match. Sometimes there may be a discrepancy. Sometimes you may receive new samples that are not posted yet. Like I said there is fabric flying all over the place here.
    • The number of swatches in each pack can vary depending on current stock. We basically add everything we can for the theme. New fabric is always coming and going.
    • You can always request particular swatches to go in your order like usual - max 5. These are complementary. Please make the request in the notes box - bottom left hand corner - on the cart page not the check out page.
