From Esc$d$, double faced, on side is fil a coupé, woven on an organza base that also has a texture in a jacquard pattern. I love this, the tape is like an organdy, it is sheer and perfect for working with lighter weight or semi sheer fabrics or shirts. Metallic gold with white tape from edge to edge total 1/4", the actual gold piping is about 1/16th a little more substantial than the similar satin piping I carry. Trying to get more. From Goutarel like the others, the base is like a black organza silk with the raised black metallic and satin floating roses which are poly. Colors are ivory, pumpkin, and black. One side is graphically woven clean and sharp and other side is felted and fuzzy this side has variance in the blurry pattern. This is double faced but not 2 layers you can pull apart. Best for patterns where both sides are visible with a binder I have both black and pumpkin. Weight is for winter coats.
