This is a very cool fabric, woven like a tiny gingham graph with an open weave, hard to see but those are holes. An understated, minimal piece for fall. On it's own or layer with white or another color under - weight is substantial enough for many types of projects. You can even run a tiny cord through it. A little stretch, some crisp body. Light off white rayon challis, light weight, it was a little flattened on the roll, if you soak in water and hang dry it will pucker up nicely with lots of texture and will stretch, once puckered the 44" width will reduce to 36", the 2 yard length only reduced 1" Great for summer 10o% rayon designer deadstock

Super soft with good weight for pants and dresses. Lots of drape. Apparently there is a small flaw in the weave every 1 1/2 yard, I can't see it but still looking deeper. This is very very soft, opaque, why throw away because of a little slub in the weave.  Width: 58" 100% tencel designer surplus
