Beautiful Italian soft stretch wool - this is special - one side is a fine crepe weave - the other is twill. Good body for soft jackets and wrap skirts, think Donna Karan Vogue patterns. Soft draping with body, will look great on jacket shoulders without pads, a double weave but you cannot really pull apart I would bind the edges. Looks great with the turmeric rayon binding. In my opinion this is the perfect midnight almost black super saturated stretch wool crepe. It has some stretch, the finish is perfect, suitable for fitted dresses and skirts and anything else that needs some give. It's perfect! Width: 60" virgin wool/elastine Made in Italy, surplus

Italian shirt buttons, rim is higher about 1/8" and covered in a brass color around a simple navy shirt button. Price per button. Made in Italy, hand selected, imported. Vintage policy: all vintage items are sold as is. They are special works of art from a time and place when design and quality were standard. These are from Italy. The quality, the concept, and attention to detail are all superb. There may be handmade finishes. I recommend always testing any washing. Usually cool water hang dry is fine if on a garment. No dryer. No hot sun. Test wash them on the fabric first. Some buttons were made in two pieces and may need some adhesive repair at some point which can be easily glued back. Lighter denim twill, the surface is softer not raw or polished like some others I have carried. The twill is fine with a two tone natural. Comparing to others this is about a 9 ounce (don't get hung up on fabric weights). Suitable for denim skirts, lighter denim type pants, heavier work shirts. Dresses will also be nice even a wide skirt can work. this is versatile and the color is fab. Available by the yard and in limited 5 yard cuts - see drop down. Soft draping, almost delicate, cotton with some stretch in it however I would just use as with any cotton unless you want to make a fitted wrap dress.
