There is a special machine that makes this, it's a mystery, the base is a nice medium weight crisp cotton with good body for many types of garments, shirts, dresses, skirts, then there are little rayon ribbons with one edge woven into the fabric so it looks kind of like a satin tuck, you cannot tell on the opposite side. I have 2 variations on this denim, it has a special premium finish with a subtle two tone color of tan and indigo. Of all the samples I washed this was pretty much exactly the same in terms of the drape a softness. There was some lint I rolled off it may have some from all the other pieces washed together.  Variation stretch: Soft draping perfect for gored skirts soft dresses. Natural unbleached cotton twill shirting with a green and navy twill woven stripe. A special weave which is what make this extra special. Medium weight white linen, it is white so you may want to line with some batiste because there is slight transparency, dress weight but not a super tight weave. The embroidery is a border scalloped along one edge, the quality is excellent. The border stretches for 18" total. The stitching appears to be cotton and looks like cotton. Loro Piana deadstock, a beautiful soft draping linen shirting, the weave is fine but not super tight, it has a subtle slub, there is a slight transparency, perfect for tank tops. This is a top summer linen shirting. Red woven pinstripes with a warm white base. Width: 60" 92% linen, 8% cotton made in Italy

Wonderful quality silk dupioni in a classic robin's egg blue. Same as the last batch, the weave has good body, soft hand but crisp, slubs are subtle and finely woven.
