They are special works of art from a time and place when design and quality were standard. These are from Italy. The quality, the concept, and attention to detail are all superb. There may be handmade finishes. I recommend always testing any washing. Usually cool water hang dry is fine if on a garment. No dryer. No hot sun. Test wash them on the fabric first. I think the best way to explain this is like a scuba weight but with no stretch. It is a cotton acrylic satin backed with a heavy white layer that gives it a heavier weight for sculptural and sleek smooth lines. From MM I believe. I see a coat or evening jacket maybe with a peplum. It is thick, like 4 layers of duchess satin. This is 100% cotton and it's hard to believe because it has this feel of similar suiting that is usually viscose poly. It is soft with drape, second image is a little lighter to show the weave there is a diagonal as in a twill but the surface is pretty smooth, saturated color, suitable for suits and dresses, slacks, 3/4 length jacket over a dress.
