This is a very cool fabric, woven like a tiny gingham graph with an open weave, hard to see but those are holes. An understated, minimal piece for fall. On it's own or layer with white or another color under - weight is substantial enough for many types of projects. You can even run a tiny cord through it. A little stretch, some crisp body. A couple of details make this piece special, when you look close the way it is woven gives it texture and dimension, the red is overlapped with tiny ivory cotton threads and in between are grey pinstripes very tiny and every other one is woven in a different pattern. Also this has a bit of stretch to it so if you want to make a wrapped snug type garment this will be to your advantage, or you can ignore.
