It is thin and smooth, you can use this to replace a traditional waistband and put a zipper through it, you can experiment with using it for inside a casing that also has a drawstring if kept loose around the hips not tight around the waist. 80% recycled polyester and 20% polyurethane

This same elastic is also available in a fold over 10 x 10mm with a ridge for folding please select from the drop down menu. If you love my other satin lamé waistband elastic you love this! It is much thinner, matte, smooth, crisp but soft, perfect for working with lightweight fabrics like silk and viscose jersey. It is absolutely top. This is not sporty elastic, it is meant to be used with finer fashion fabric.
