Italian brushed cotton canvas summer pant weight. This is part of a collection I am building with luxury refined bottom weights in natural fibers. This is a canvas weave but much finer and lighter - a summer suit weight - with a brushed hands on both sides. Italian two tone twill suiting in cabernet and natural, all cotton but there is a slight give. Twill is a fine weave with a nice finish, a more refined version of denim. Italian designer refined cotton twill. Extra wide. Natural unbleached ivory with specs. Soft  hand with drape but still feels like a twill. Will make a nice summer work jacket or pants. I always like to keep a nice white shirting in stock. This version is a little different, it has a laundered crumple and a micro twill weave. It is pretty much opaque with a slight transparency for a shirt weight. Light weight, soft drape for blouses and shirts. I love it. The warp is made from a very fine clear nylon threads with cotton going the opposite direction but it appears totally white - it creates the slight texture in the surface. From S.M. initials. Double faced wool cashmere silk coating with a slight nap.  It is a double weave but not meant to be pulled apart and tucked in. Opposite side from the floral is solid black. Yes it is gorgeous, an absolute knock out! Kind of melton weight but more luxurious from the bit of cashmere and silk. Price per yard, fraction cuts by request. Dark black plum silk satin crepe with a raised puffed pattern secured in a base of chocolate brownish bronze metallic. This is a collectors piece. Weight suitable for jackets, dresses, there is some give on the bias, this is heavier but has some drape. It is just spectacular, I have very tiny swatches available. Italian shirt buttons, rim is higher about 1/8" and covered in gunmetal color around a simple smokey grey shirt button. Price per button. Made in Italy, hand selected, imported. Vintage policy: all vintage items are sold as is. They are special works of art from a time and place when design and quality were standard. These are from Italy. The quality, the concept, and attention to detail are all superb. There may be handmade finishes. I recommend always testing any washing. Usually cool water hang dry is fine if on a garment. No dryer. No hot sun. Test wash them on the fabric first. Some buttons were made in two pieces and may need some adhesive repair at some point which can be easily glued back.
