This is 100% cotton and it's hard to believe because it has this feel of similar suiting that is usually viscose. It is soft with drape, matte finish, good body, second image is a little lighter to show the weave there is a diagonal as in a twill but the surface is pretty smooth, saturated color, suitable for suits, wide slacks, walking shorts, and dresses, slacks, 3/4 length jacket over a dress. Up close the weave has a melange, the dark stripes are blue and crimson the lighter are crimson and butter yellow blended. There is a little irridescent finish, it is a cotton poly blend with a sculptural drape similar to a duschesse satin. Weight is like a Spring Summer raincoat type. At first this may look like a simple stripe but upon closer inspection this stripe is extra special especially when looking at the weave on the wrong side. The stripes have varying types if weave on a natural cotton base, the green are raised. The colors are fantastic, everything about this piece shows an attention to detail that is disappearing, this mill has been "acquired" by an industry behemoth. This is one of the pre-sell out rolls. From Max M. kind of a Marimekko inspired print on a silky challis, light, a little texture in the weave. It is 98% opaque. Nothing to worry about, I would make something simple without a lot of pieces in different directions. Summer loose dresses are nice, tiered ruffles will work. This is a soft draping malleable weave suiting. Suitable for soft wide pants, unlined, unstructured jackets, soft dresses too. Its a wonderful summer classic in a little different weave and fiber. Italian brushed on face side but in a subtle way heavy 100% cotton suiting from Esc$da, has a little give, it very very nice. Will make a lovely coat/ jacket over a dress, a slim dress, for a Spring garden party, wedding, Easter. Also looks great in a cigarette pants with a black turtleneck. Cross hatch melange linen viscose suiting with a subtle slub from Max M but has an early Prada vibe. Summer weight can be used for many different types of garments, pants, skirts, dresses, summer suit jackets. There is some drape but this is suiting so there is some crisp body. The melange is very cool and is available in 3 tones, mix and match. Sand has more ivory and rust together with specs of blue.
