Luxury Italian Deadstock Fabrics

There is a special machine that makes this, it's a mystery, the base is a nice medium weight crisp cotton with good body for many types of garments, shirts, dresses, skirts, then there are little rayon ribbons with one edge woven into the fabric so it looks kind of like a satin tuck, you cannot tell on the opposite side. I have never seen anything like this it is amazing! It has a kind of pearly sheen, weight is jacket coat weight, it is the softest cotton at this weight I have ever seen, you can make a shawl collar wrap coat with a suri alpaca collar. Loro Piana deadstock, a beautiful soft draping linen shirting, the weave is fine but not super tight, it has a subtle slub, there is a slight transparency, perfect for tank tops. On the red because I know you will ask me - its in the middle of the spectrum between cool and warm, it is a crisp clear straight up red. Used by E. Scervino, Italy. I had this here for a while and forgot to post but this is a very very nice soft pant fabric for a high waisted wide slack (for example). Has a 90's Armani Michelle Pfeiffer vibe. The color has a little striata so it doesn't look flat - it has a little dimension. The drape is liquid. I had stocked to go with this jacket fabric here. Finish is matte. This is very special. Italian luxury double faced jacket/coat woolen in lodan green. The exterior is crepe with a diagonal puckered texture subtle while the interior is a soft brushed fleece like plain weave. This is very special. Has some drape jacket  to light coat weight. Green is like a loden with a blue undertone. Double faced mid weight coating/jacket weight. You can pull apart and tuck in seam allowances or this is light enough to stitch and press open seams. This is an exquisite piece of understated luxury. Interior camel brown is a soft subtle textured weave while the exterior is a soft velvety chenille with rippled texture. Suitable for a wrap, coat, vest or jacket. This is my favorite. This is pretty spectacular. Even better in person. Semi transparent, ivory and black floral with a white gold lurex jacquard rose pattern layered on top.
