Soft summer pant weight, slub in the weave, stripes are woven in a special way with a fade between colors. Taupe, navy, lime, yellow, coral. You can make many different types of garments with this. A couple of details make this piece special, when you look close the way it is woven gives it texture and dimension, the red is overlapped with tiny ivory cotton threads and in between are grey pinstripes very tiny and every other one is woven in a different pattern. Also this has a bit of stretch to it so if you want to make a wrapped snug type garment this will be to your advantage, or you can ignore. Soft draping, almost delicate, cotton with some stretch in it however I would just use as with any cotton unless you want to make a fitted wrap dress. At first this may look like a simple stripe but upon closer inspection this stripe is extra special especially when looking at the weave on the wrong side. The stripes have varying types if weave on a natural cotton base, the green are raised. The colors are fantastic, everything about this piece shows an attention to detail that is disappearing, this mill has been "acquired" by an industry behemoth. This is one of the pre-sell out rolls. Loro Piana deadstock, a beautiful soft draping linen shirting, the weave is fine but not super tight, it has a subtle slub, there is a slight transparency, perfect for tank tops.
