Italian light fluffy plaid wool, soft and fuzzy with a boiled texture, wavey weave in the plaid if you look close. Italian stable sweater knit, rare find, suitable for thicker tops and medium weight cardigans. A twist on a classic. Not particularly bulky, something with some shape will work, rib runs cross grain and is apparent on both sides. Not necessarily double faced but looks pretty close. Stretch is mechanical but there is a little give cross grain. Also will make a nice trim to pair with other knits. Midnight blue.
