I honestly have never come across such a gorgeous tropical wool, just when I think it can't get any better I find something new. Even just feeling a swatch in my hand it is cool - the weave is a little different kind of like a smooth dupioni with no slub, finish has some satin - this is a blend of 30% viscose and 70% wool. This is a really nice denim, ready to wear, easy to sew, not softened but not raw the best of both worlds meet in the middle. About a 10 oz there is a little stretch but was listed as 100% cotton so this may be in the weave. Suitable for jeans and jean jackets, a skirt, dresses depending. The weave on this is super extra, light, crinkled, lots of varying textures, there are strips of wool that have some gauzey squares, if you look close there is a lot going on.
