Ok so this is a very beautiful linen striped in a vibrant earthy palette of turmeric, teal, tomato. It has a handwoven feel, there is a sheen, it is opaque with a summer jacket weight. 85% linen and 15% nylon, the warp is clear nylon that holds onto the linen giving it shape. It comes from a mill that creates very special textiles. It find of flows like a heavy organza but a little softer, suitable for wraps and ponchos, blouses, make a big skirt, a top. Lots' of options. Only one side is usable so if you made a wrap I would face with a silk. The dark teal bands are 6 1/2 and the striped bands are 15" alternating. Width: 64" Made in Italy, designer

This has a kind of Japanese vibe, the waeve is really interesting and between the layers are soft corded woven inside (there are poly) the exterior is a cellulose looks and feels like rayon there may be cotton (burned) with a little sheen. The hand is sculptural and there is some stretch due to the weave. Will make a great Miyake jacket or something shaped like a cocoon shape even a skirt - this is such a cool piece. Bright bold perfect crisp red. I have 2 widths. The 6mm is flat and suitable for accents as a seam cover, neck/shoulder seams, pockets, take it everywhere. Also there is a binder 10mm on each side. Please note both stretch cross not with the length. This makes it easy to wrap an edge or for covering a seam but does not stretch lengthwise. It will do curve depending on how severe but I recommend dampening in the curve and steaming to shrink and mold first.  made in Japan 100% wool

Good weight sturdy but soft to wear. Suitable for ready to wear jeans, jackets, Fashion pieces, skirts, very versatile, not stiff and raw. Sanforized, any shrinkage will be minimal.
