Luxury Italian Deadstock Fabrics

At first this may look like a simple stripe but upon closer inspection this stripe is extra special especially when looking at the weave on the wrong side. The stripes have varying types if weave on a natural cotton base, the green are raised. The colors are fantastic, everything about this piece shows an attention to detail that is disappearing, this mill has been "acquired" by an industry behemoth. This is one of the pre-sell out rolls. I have never seen anything like this it is amazing! It has a kind of pearly sheen, weight is jacket coat weight, it is the softest cotton at this weight I have ever seen, you can make a shawl collar wrap coat with a suri alpaca collar. Loro Piana deadstock, a beautiful soft draping linen shirting, the weave is fine but not super tight, it has a subtle slub, there is a slight transparency, perfect for tank tops. Price is for 2 yards Designer, high quality, water proof raincoat floral jacquard. Outside surface is a stone taupey with a smoke grey jacquard floral pattern, the finish is sateen and fools the eye as it does not look like a "water proof raincoat" fabric. I had this here for a while and forgot to post but this is a very very nice soft pant fabric for a high waisted wide slack (for example). Has a 90's Armani Michelle Pfeiffer vibe. The color has a little striata so it doesn't look flat - it has a little dimension. The drape is liquid. I had stocked to go with this jacket fabric here. Finish is matte.
