Interesting piece, colors are grey, butter, black, with accent in aqua thread. No synthetic. The ribbons are similar to hem tape but nicer and folded tight like a spaghetti strap then woven with black and aqua thread that is not poly I think cotton could be rayon. This has a kind of Japanese vibe, the waeve is really interesting and between the layers are soft corded woven inside (there are poly) the exterior is a cellulose looks and feels like rayon there may be cotton (burned) with a little sheen. The hand is sculptural and there is some stretch due to the weave. Will make a great Miyake jacket or something shaped like a cocoon shape even a skirt - this is such a cool piece. This is one of my favorites right now - it has an interesting textured weave in a geometric pattern, it is very soft, you can even make pull on pants with an elastic waist, skirts, soft jackets. Medium weight not super light and drapey. Both sides have something to offer. Can give some bias drape. I always like to keep a nice white shirting in stock. This version is a little different, it has a laundered crumple and a micro twill weave. It is pretty much opaque with a slight transparency for a shirt weight. Light weight, soft drape for blouses and shirts. I love it. The warp is made from a very fine clear nylon threads with cotton going the opposite direction but it appears totally white - it creates the slight texture in the surface. From S.M. initials. Wonderful designer gauzy jacquard with a heart pattern in a hand drawn style. White is pretty white but leans warm when contrasted with optical white but on it's own is pretty white. Weave has varying gauze weaves inside the heart and outside. Suitable for blouses billowy or a simple cami underlined and party skirts.
