Lighter denim twill, the surface is softer not raw or polished like some others I have carried. The will is fine with a two tone natural. Comparing to others this is about a 9 ounce (don't get hung up on fabric weights). Suitable for denim skirts, lighter denim type pants, heavier work shirts. This is 100% cotton and it's hard to believe because it has this feel of similar suiting that is usually viscose poly. It is soft with drape, second image is a little lighter to show the weave there is a diagonal as in a twill but the surface is pretty smooth, saturated color, suitable for suits and dresses, slacks, 3/4 length jacket over a dress.
