Vintage Italian synthetic base with a molded shank topped with a hard metal shiny brassy frame. Very smart on jackets and cardigans. Price per button. Midnight - the photos are bascially the black but the midnight is very dak and does now show in a photo.

Vintage policy: all vintage items are sold as is. They are special works of art from a time and place when design and quality were standard. These are from Italy. The quality, the concept, and attention to detail are all superb. There may be handmade finishes. I recommend always testing any washing. Usually cool water hang dry is fine if on a garment. No dryer. No hot sun. Test wash them on the fabric first. Some buttons were made in two pieces and may need some adhesive repair at some point which can be easily glued back.
