I love this, the tape is like an organdy, it is sheer and perfect for working with lighter weight or semi sheer fabrics or shirts. Metallic silver from edge to edge total 1/4", the actual silver piping is about 1/16th a little more substantial than the similar satin piping I carry. Deep aqua, very fine weave, very soft and slinky, opaque but if you stretch it there will be some sheerness. It has some stretch, cross grain 5" with stretch to 8" comfortably, the other direction has less stretch. Great for layering and lounging. Heavy weight Japanese ribbing, the 1 x 1 ribb knit 67” is wide as well and suitable for more than just a ribbed trim it is heavy and firm - good for insets, under sleeves, collars, etc. You can treat like a woven. This cotton has some body, a laundered texture, it is crips, the weave is like a smooth faille, it is really nice for a shirt, or a summer wrap skirt, a shift dress. This is giving me a Kenzo inspired vibe. I believe it is all cotton, maybe there is a little rayon I cannot tell. Handselected in Italy deadstock. Color combo is good too. Sometimes there may be a discrepancy. Sometimes you may receive new samples that are not posted yet. Like I said there is fabric flying all over the place here. The number of swatches in each pack can vary depending on current stock. We basically add everything we can for the theme. New fabric is always coming and going. You can always request particular swatches to go in your order like usual - max 5. These are complementary.
