This is extra strong silver piping with a finely woven braid tape 1/4" and an 1/8" shiny gold piping. Made for trim on a suiting weight - not like the other similar piping I stock for lighter weight fabric. This is a wonderful piping when you need a little something extra. Sold by the yard. I love this, the tape is like an organdy, it is sheer and perfect for working with lighter weight or semi sheer fabrics or shirts. Metallic silver from edge to edge total 1/4", the actual silver piping is about 1/16th a little more substantial than the similar satin piping I carry. Deep aqua, very fine weave, very soft and slinky, opaque but if you stretch it there will be some sheerness. It has some stretch, cross grain 5" with stretch to 8" comfortably, the other direction has less stretch. Great for layering and lounging. Heavy weight Japanese ribbing, the 1 x 1 ribb knit 67” is wide as well and suitable for more than just a ribbed trim it is heavy and firm - good for insets, under sleeves, collars, etc. You can treat like a woven.
