This is a very interesting cotton, it is cotton, I burned it but I will do my best to describe, it feels like there is a tiny bit of nylon in it that gives it a light "windbreaker effect" but it is soft and sculptural, very nice if you want accentuate a subtle shape or interesting cut, will also gather well. 100% cotton, white fine cotton from BC. Looks like a 4 x 4 but flat. Semi sheer on purpose, does have give but just be cautious this does not have any lycra in it. Think Town & Country, will pair with jodhpurs, a jacket, poncho, suit jacket weight. Can be used for a car coat if underlined, a skirt, I wouldn't do pants, but a dress can work. Weave is malleable somewhat on bias, ivory with the taupe that has some variance in fiber, double faced. Price by the yard. Very soft, probably has a little bit of something else like maybe cashmere. The weave is a tiny houndstooth in rose and wine.
