I have never seen this before, one side is find of like a fleecy fuzzy brushed hand - the other is a polished twill weave. It is virgin wool 100% and reminds of something from Pendleton or like a warm worker shirt, could also be a heavy liner to a lighter weatherproof work jacket. Ok so this is a very beautiful linen striped in a vibrant earthy palette of turmeric, teal, tomato. It has a handwoven feel, there is a sheen, it is opaque with a summer jacket weight. 85% linen and 15% nylon, the warp is clear nylon that holds onto the linen giving it shape. It comes from a mill that creates very special textiles. It find of flows like a heavy organza but a little softer, suitable for wraps and ponchos, blouses, make a big skirt, a top. Lots' of options. Only one side is usable so if you made a wrap I would face with a silk. The dark teal bands are 6 1/2 and the striped bands are 15" alternating. Width: 64" Made in Italy, designer

Italian light fluffy plaid wool, soft and fuzzy with a boiled texture, wavey weave in the plaid if you look close. The palette is lovely, turquoise, tomato, perwinkle, olive, sage, a little royal blue, it's just beyond. Jacket weight but is not super dense, has a lofty weight. One of my favorites in this drop. Designer, wool blend soft draping, light weight jersey but still opaque, on the back side you will notice a micro french terry weave, gives a little in both directions but really only a mechanical stretch. I would look for patterns with soft drape not fitted. For plaid lovers and even if you don't do plaid you will love this piece. Soft with some drape, medium weight is suitable for a poncho or jacket, maybe a wrap skirt with some bias swing in the front. The palette is excellent, lavender, grey, pumpkin, black, chocolate brown, beige, chartreuse. Light cotton poplin shirting, print is like a photocopy of moonstones then tinted in a sagebrush green and lined up like a polka dot.
