Mechanical stretch, I would trim this out in a hand knitted ribbing out of something special, maybe an old sweater or something vintage cut up for trim. Will be nice in a big cardigan or cocoon type. Italian two tone twill suiting in cabernet and natural, all cotton but there is a slight give. Twill is a fine weave with a nice finish, a more refined version of denim. Very soft wool in a very cool diamond weave. The subtle detail in the way this is woven is TOP. This was a specially developed piece. Limited quantity. Soft woven blend of cotton, virgin wool, cashmere, viscose, and a pinch of nylon you cannot feel along with very tiny flat round iridescent sequins visible on both sides. I don't feel the cotton. They are kind of buried in the weave and make this perfect for evening. Jacket weight with drape, weave is malleable. Ivory and dark wine. Colors are ivory, pumpkin, and black. One side is graphically woven clean and sharp and other side is felted and fuzzy this side has variance in the blurry pattern. This is double faced but not 2 layers you can pull apart. Best for patterns where both sides are visible with a binder I have both black and pumpkin. Weight is for winter coats.
