I have never seen this before, one side is find of like a fleecy fuzzy brushed hand - the other is a polished twill weave. It is virgin wool 100% and reminds of something from Pendleton or like a warm worker shirt, could also be a heavy liner to a lighter weatherproof work jacket. Soft draping, almost delicate, cotton with some stretch in it however I would just use as with any cotton unless you want to make a fitted wrap dress. Sew directly or to remove starch please lay flat in a tub for 30 min to a day, hang straight, and press/reshape while slightly damp. Do not throw in washer and dryer. There wasn't any serious marking from the washer in the first wash with soap. Down the road it you choose to use the washer please turn inside out. NO dryer.

This is spectacular, I have never seen a piece like this. It is a cotton gauze woven with a texture and has a kind of pleated illusion, soft and drapey, will make a beautiful blouse, wrap, maybe a sheath dress over a slip. 46" 35 yards
