I don't know how they made this but the rope is part of the button as seen on the back. Height is about 3/8" Suitable for jackets, coats, cardigans. Not super heavy. Sizes on drop down. Vintage shiny dusty smooth with a coiled knot that is hard and molded. THIS is what innovation looks like. There is a light two tone in the colors because this is like 70 years old but if you buy this button and put this on a garment I am pretty sure you are the only one to have this embellishment.
