Denim and Friends

I have 2 variations on this denim, it has a special premium finish with a subtle two tone color of tan and indigo. Of all the samples I washed this was pretty much exactly the same in terms of the drape a softness. There was some lint I rolled off it may have some from all the other pieces washed together.  Variation stretch: Soft draping perfect for gored skirts soft dresses. Classic cross hatch, nice and crisp, washed well. Perfect for a proper denim jacket, corset or bustier, jeans, skirts - nice with seaming/piecing and top stitching.  Width: 58" 100% cotton closeout

This is one of my favorites, It has a good feel not super stiff, good indigo color in a twill that mostly shows the indigo color, not the lighter, along with a slub so it is extra blue. Softened up nicely. Suitable for coats, jackets, skirts, and jeans.  Width: 62 - 63.5" Content: 100% cotton, sanforized minimal shrinkage. closeout, designer Please reach out with any questions on denim care. This washed up well but I still recommend laying flat in tepid water for an hour to remove starch and hanging dry straight and flat, reshape and press when damp/almost dry.

Premium denim with a special premium finish for keeping the stretch in shape and also premium finish on the dye - made with climate forward practices. This denim has 3% recycled elastine and offers extra stretch. Think Fashion on this, tight skirts and dresses, insets on jackets, etc (and jeans). Sold by the yard and swatches available with both as is and washed - select from drop down. Width: 49" Content: 97% organic cotton, 3% recycled elastine Made in Italy, Candiani This is sanforized so shrinking in minimal. Sew directly or to remove starch please lay flat in a tub for 30 min to a day, hang straight, and press/reshape while slightly damp. Do not throw in washer and dryer. There wasn't any serious marking from the washer in the first wash with soap. Down the road it you choose to use the washer please turn inside out. NO dryer. 

Perfect Japanese selvedge shirting, indigo with tan, selvedge. Shirting weight. Suitable for shirts and other types of tops but think outside the box, utilize the selvedge stripe. Available by the yard, a 5 yard deal, and a swatch - see drop down. Fabric care guidance: This shirting is starched for easier manufacturing. I soaked in tepid water to release starch for a day, hang dry, and there was to shrinkage. To soak, it is best practice to lay fabric flat like in a tub and hang dry straight from clips. On the red because I know you will ask me - its in the middle of the spectrum between cool and warm, it is a crisp clear straight up red. Used by E. Scervino, Italy. Italian designer refined cotton twill. Extra wide. Natural unbleached ivory with specs. Soft  hand with drape but still feels like a twill. Will make a nice summer work jacket or pants. Good body, maybe its about a 9 ounce. It is a good pant weight for a relaxed jean type.  Width: 62" 100% cotton Made in Italy, designer

Italian two tone twill suiting in cabernet and natural, all cotton but there is a slight give. Twill is a fine weave with a nice finish, a more refined version of denim. Suitable for pants, suit jackets, skirts, a duster coat. Not soft draping - use this for structure and clean lines.  Width: 59" Content: 100% cotton Made in Italy

This is FASHION denim. Please note there are new photos of current batch. I love this denim, it has been softened, distressed and faded. You will see some variance in the fade and fade marks hard to see on the computer, marbling retro acid washed vibe -  part of the deal. Perfect for obvious jeans, skirts, jackets, great if you want to leave a raw edge.  Candiani Italian selvedge denim. Soft. About 11+ ounce. It has been treated and washed. I also have some extra pieces maybe there is a little irregularity, some extra marbling, etc. Still good.
