The quality of the embroidery is impeccable. The stitching on this is very fine and delicate, there are stripes of entredeux like and mini flowers that look like lace, It is so nice. The cotton is like a voile there is a little transparency not much. So pretty.  Width: 54" all cotton designer, imported Italian deadstock fabric

Base is a light rayon challis with a vintage inspired jacquard floral. Print is lively floral with a wash of colors in olive and periwinkle. The need for lining or underlining is a personal preference. Opaque with a tinge of transparency. I would wear as is. Suitable for a  soft flowing dress or blouse. This looks hand. carved but honestly I don't know how these buttons were made! Designer, high quality, water proof raincoat floral jacquard. Outside surface is a dark smoky grey with a jacquard floral pattern, the finish is sateen and fools the eye as it does not look like a "water proof raincoat" fabric. It is all poly, made in Italy. Honestly, I don't think I have ever see a rayon like this or at least not for a while. It cost a little more but is special. It has body perfect for a dress also nice for a cami, if you underline a summer suit jacket can work. A soft draping but slighty sulptural. Not a challis. There is a satin jacquard weave. Exceptional. Peach base is semi sheer kind of like a laundered crinkled voilganza but with more body. Soft drape as you can see. On its own or I happen to have a sandwashed crepe de chine in a perfect match. Will make a beautiful boho blouse with jeans or a dress.
