It has a tinge of transparency when draping soft very subtle, there is a lot of drape and cross grain stretch is at least 20% but I wouldn't stretch it so much. You can even do a cowl with this. All luxury wool, you can make a turtle neck, suitable for layering pieces, something soft draping. It is absolutely TOP.
