By the yard, firm weave plain that gives a checkerboard effect. Firm canvas, easy to wash, navy and light blue two tone. Will look great with a piping as well. I have quantity on this one.

This piece is from a lot of luxury deadstock home decor fabrics from Quatrine and Wall Fabrics in Australia. I have some tags, these are mostly sample rolls, they don't appear to be treated in anyway or washed from the documentation I have. These are recently used not old. Mills are in Mexico, Italy, and Spain. Some say Kravat and Perennial. Prices are below wholesale from what I see. Swatches are available. Some are natural fiber others look natural but are top shelf synthetic using solution dyed acrylic. When I say "outdoor" these pieces are not as soft and feel appropriate for outdoor but I cannot say anything about sun exposure.
