This is amazing, actually it has a sheen that looks and feels like silk linen but it is woven with cupro. Woven with a two tone sunkissed palette, weight is heavy enough for dresses, pants, summer jackets, stripe work. Not a "lightweight" fabric as in a shirting weight but still a Spring/Summer fabric with a crumpled suiting vibe has drape and body and gives a luxe satin linen vibe. IT is gorgeous. I have 2 variations on this denim, it has a special premium finish with a subtle two tone color of tan and indigo. Of all the samples I washed this was pretty much exactly the same in terms of the drape a softness. There was some lint I rolled off it may have some from all the other pieces washed together.  Variation stretch: Soft draping perfect for gored skirts soft dresses. Lovely soft and light, drapes, bright summer plaid all virgin wool. The weave is like a cotton linen but in a wool, it is stupendous. You can play with direction of the pattern, bias works. soft flowing skirts and dresses, shirts and blouses. Lining and slip optional. Vintage Italian shiny tomato red round buttons cut on each end with a stepped groove exposing white. also notice the thread groove in white. So good! Price per button. They are special works of art from a time and place when design and quality were standard. These are from Italy. The quality, the concept, and attention to detail are all superb. There may be handmade finishes. I recommend always testing any washing. Some may show light wear but all are new and limited to stock on hand. Usually cool water hand dry is fine if on a garment. No dryer. No hot sun. Test wash them on the fabric first. Some buttons were made in two pieces and may need some adhesive repair at some point which can be easily glued back.
