Available in 2 different reds - a cool and a warm. I list them together so you can see the differences. Wool Fold Over Binding woven as a petersham grosgrain ribbon, made in Japan. Actual width is 1 1/8" to allow for the fold but each side will be 1/2" when folded. Finely woven, not heavy and bulky, petersham weave allows for curves - the quality you expect from L'Etoffe. Interesting piece, colors are grey, butter, black, with accent in aqua thread. No synthetic. The ribbons are similar to hem tape but nicer and folded tight like a spaghetti strap then woven with black and aqua thread that is not poly I think cotton could be rayon.
