This is amazing, actually it has a sheen that looks and feels like silk linen but it is woven with cupro. Woven with a two tone sunkissed palette, weight is heavy enough for dresses, pants, summer jackets, stripe work. Not a "lightweight" fabric as in a shirting weight but still a Spring/Summer fabric with a crumpled suiting vibe has drape and body and gives a luxe satin linen vibe. IT is gorgeous. Soft summer pant weight, slub in the weave, stripes are woven in a special way with a fade between colors. Taupe, navy, lime, yellow, coral. You can make many different types of garments with this. Lovely soft and light, drapes, bright summer plaid all virgin wool. The weave is like a cotton linen but in a wool, it is stupendous. You can play with direction of the pattern, bias works. soft flowing skirts and dresses, shirts and blouses. Lining and slip optional. This is 100% cotton and it's hard to believe because it has this feel of similar suiting that is usually viscose poly. It is soft with drape, second image is a little lighter to show the weave there is a diagonal as in a twill but the surface is pretty smooth, saturated color, suitable for suits and dresses, slacks, 3/4 length jacket over a dress. Comparing to others this is about a 9 ounce (don't get hung up on fabric weights). Suitable for denim skirts, lighter denim type pants, heavier work shirts.
