This is amazing it is 50/50 silk wool, it feels amazing, is soft against the skin and wrinkle resistant by design no treatments. Weave is smooth. This is luxury top quality. It's hard to describe this is so beautiful, I did not believe it was cotton, drapes like a challis but in a twill weave. Soft draping wool with a texture woven kind of like a matlassè, basket weave pattern with a slight sheen flat on the opposite. There is a little transparency because of the color but there is body to this. You can make a soft shirt, or line for a dress. It is soft - think Sharon Stone Basic Instinct.
