Honestly, I don't think I have ever see a rayon like this or at least not for a while. It cost a little more but is special. It has body perfect for a dress also nice for a cami, if you underline a summer suit jacket can work. A soft draping but slighty sulptural. Not a challis. There is a satin jacquard weave. The floral is bold and says "decadent" especially in a caftan.

From C.H. Heavier but molds like a duchess satin. Suitable for an evening coat or fitted dress, a slim skirt will work as well, tailored jacket. This is extra. It is sold on a panel with a wide space of red (warm) and the swirling molten jacquard pattern which has varying textures in the pattern. The panel includes a yard of solid red and 1 1/8 yard of the pattern with a 2.5" of plain red for hem. This is all woven continuous as you can see in the photo so 2 panels will be continuous.

I think the best way to explain this is like a scuba weight but with no stretch. It is a cotton acrylic satin backed with a heavy white layer that gives it a heavier weight for sculptural and sleek smooth lines. From MM I believe. I see a coat or evening jacket maybe with a peplum. It is thick, like 4 layers of duchess satin. You could forgo consideration of grainline here and just cut which will save fabric.

Exceptional. Peach base is semi sheer kind of like a laundered crinkled voilganza but with more body. Soft drape as you can see.
