From C.H. Heavier but molds like a duchess satin. Suitable for an evening coat or fitted dress, a slim skirt will work as well, tailored jacket. This is extra. It is sold on a panel with a wide space of red (warm) and the swirling molten jacquard pattern which has varying textures in the pattern. The panel includes a yard of solid red and 1 1/8 yard of the pattern with a 2.5" of plain red for hem. This is all woven continuous as you can see in the photo so 2 panels will be continuous. Dark black plum silk satin crepe with a raised puffed pattern secured in a base of chocolate brownish bronze metallic. This is a collectors piece. Weight suitable for jackets, dresses, there is some give on the bias, this is heavier but has some drape. It is just spectacular, I have very tiny swatches available. I think the best way to explain this is like a scuba weight but with no stretch. It is a cotton acrylic satin backed with a heavy white layer that gives it a heavier weight for sculptural and sleek smooth lines. From MM I believe. I see a coat or evening jacket maybe with a peplum. It is thick, like 4 layers of duchess satin. A truly spectacular jacquard from Italy. Please look closely at the floral motif, it has dimensional layers and is indented into the base which is a black with gold specs showing through with some texture it is heavier kind of malleable like a duchess satin. All you need is a waistband and some tights to make this happen. Both sides are usable, crisp but with some softness, sheer stripes with raised satin floral printed stripes that run crossgrain. You can underline and make an evening suit jacket or gather for a skirt/dress. maybe a bustier. This does not feel like a synthetic at all! From Italian company known for psychedelic prints. Easy to sew, you can serge directly -  sequined mesh with a little give lengthwise. A little transparency not much to worry about. You can treat like a woven and line to make a shift dress, caftan, great for tops with jeans, this is even more gorgeous in person. Pattern runs cross grain. The glisten on this is spectacular. Please note you will have to provide an underlay to soften against the skin. You can serge this together. Pleated soft mesh with small circular sequins. Stretches a little as a 4 way primarily because of the pleated folds. Width: 60/54" designer surplus
